  • Mary L. Bishop, 80, office service specialist, Administrative Services Division, died Dec. 19; retired in 1993 with 23 years of service. 

  • Donald W. Cox, 78, superintendent A, Christiansburg Residency, died Jan. 10; retired in 1990 with 39 years of service.

  • Harold H. Cox, 56, transportation operator II, Hillsville Residency, died Feb. 16; retired in 2004 with 30 years of service.

  • Miles W. Holland, 90, resident engineer, Rocky Mount, died Feb. 10; retired 1980 with 38 years of service.

  • Bobby J. Howard, 68, equipment operator B, Appomattox Residency, died Feb. 10; retired in 1995 with 29 years of service. 

  • James R. McCutchen, 68, construction inspector B, Lexington Residency, died Feb. 6; retired in 1991 with 27 years of service.
     
  • Michael K. Powell, 47, construction inspector, Jonesville Residency, died Feb. 7; he had five years of service.

  • Roger Sullivan, 54, crew member, Post Oak Area Headquarters, Fredericksburg Residency, died Feb. 1; he had 28 years of service.
