  • Consultant CEI Informational Session 2/9/18
  • Order Number M56 (UPC 110422) Required Showing Notice:

Required Showing Start Time - The formal presentation for the showing will begin at 10:30am and end at approximately noon.  We will adjourn the meeting from noon to 1:30PM so attendees can obtain lunch.  We would then re-convene at the formal presentation site and we will provide transportation to the project site.  We will be on-site from 1:45PM to 4:00PM for the contractors to review the site and work.

Portions of the work are difficult to access and each contractor needs to have at least one (1) person with good physical condition who can safely traverse steep slopes, climb over barrier wall, and climb ladder rungs inside the pylons to the height the contractor plans to view.  Also, each contractor will need to provide their own fall protection harness to climb the inside of the pylons.  (2/2/2018)

  • All bidders on Plant Mix schedules

A revision was issued late last year for of the all 2017 Plant Mix Schedules that reduced the density requirements for Patching and Small Quantities to 91.5% of the maximum theoretical density. Since we made the change by revision, we unfortunately neglected to roll this change into the Current Plant Mix Specifications set, therefore it was not included in the 2018 Plant Mix schedules. To correct this error, a Copied Note is being inserted in all 2018 Schedule Work which will lower the density requirements for Patching and Small Quantities from 92.5% to 91.5% of the maximum theoretical density. Please factor this into your bids. I apologize for any confusion this has caused.  (1/22/2018)
