Northern Virginia Fairfax Permits
Site Plan Permits
A site plan permit is required for work shown on an Arlington County Site Plan or work shown on a Fairfax County SP, SD, PI, MSP or RGP Plan. These plans require approval from the appropriate county and recommendation for approval by VDOT.
NOTE: Good right-of-way management principles dictate that all site plans permits issued in the VDOT right-of-way be monitored on a regular basis. Inspectors monitor sites for proper erosion and siltation control, safety issues, and work affecting the right-of-way.
