Hydraulics and Utilities Section
The Hydraulics Section provides technical support and administrative management of statewide hydraulics and drainage related functions for projects designed by internal staff and consultants. Technical resources such as the VDOT Drainage Manual and Instructional & Information Memoranda are provided for all statewide drainage related functions as well as the development and/or interpretation of policies, procedures and standards. This Section also provides research and training to internal staff as well as consultants.
The Utilities Section provides technical support and administrative management of statewide “in plan” utility plans.
