| DIRECTED TO - DISTRICT ADMINISTRATORS | |
| Section 109.03 of the Specifications states "Payments to the Contractor will be made for the quantities of contract items performed in accordance with the plans and specifications." If an item is installed in accordance with the contract and that item is a separate pay item in the contract, then full payment should be made for that item. Even pay items that are components of a larger unit or system should be paid in full as they are completed. | |
| Payment for these contract items does not relieve the Contractor of the responsibility to complete operational testing or to remove or repair unacceptable work. Also, "Lump Sum" or "Each" items that are not complete at the time of the monthly progress estimate may still be paid on a prorated basis in accordance with Section 109.07. | |
