An industry briefing was April 25, 2011, at 2:30 p.m. EST at the Virginia Modeling, Analysis and Simulation Center, 1030 University Blvd., Suffolk, VA 23435.

The development and operation of the U.S. Route 460 Corridor Improvements Project is being procured separately by the Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) under the Public-Private Transportation Act (PPTA).

Contract Objectives

VDOT’s U.S. Route 460 Project Management Services contract objectives are to:

• Augment VDOT's staffing needs for the project
• Procure a consultant team capable of successfully and efficiently providing a wide range of program management services where VDOT lacks resources and expertise to meet the engineering and business needs of the project
