“The tunnel project presented numerous challenges.  The specifications and standards for the tunnel were totally different from the construction we were accustomed to.  Also, we were unaccustomed to the working conditions inside the tunnel where it was dark, damp, muddy, and cool.  We wore rubber boots and rain gear to repel the water seeping from the mountain.”
