NIGHT PAVING WILL AFFECT TRAFFIC ON RT. 666 IN CULPEPER
Motorists should expect delays from 6 p.m. to 4:30 a.m. beginning Aug. 19
CULPEPER — Motorists using Route 666 (Braggs Corner Road) in Culpeper should expect delays between Route 29 (James Madison Highway) and Route 15/29 Business (Brandy Road) for four nights beginning Sunday, Aug. 19 during overnight paving work. The work is scheduled to be finished Thursday morning, Aug. 23.
Paving crews will work from 6 p.m. until 4:30 a.m. each night. Access to the homes along Route 666 will be maintained during the paving operations. While the work is under way motorists are encouraged to avoid the work zone by using alternate routes, including Route 667 (Nalles Mill Road) and Route 1023 (Montanus Drive). Flaggers will be stationed at both ends of the work zone to direct motorists to the best alternate route.
