VDOT Announces E-ZPass Fee Structure

Following review of public input and evaluating numerous options, the Virginia Department of Transportation has developed a new fee structure to cover the increasing cost to administer Virginia’s E-ZPass program, an electronic toll collection system allowing motorists to pay tolls without having to stop at toll booths.

The new fee structure takes effect Sept. 1, 2012.
