Motorists should expect delays on the Pamunkey River Bridge next week
(Westbound traffic to be stopped in 10 minute intervals)
On Wednesday, November 5, westbound traffic on Rt. 360 at the Pamunkey River Bridge will be periodically stopped for not more than 10 minutes while Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) crews pour the concrete deck on the bridge. This is will be first of two deck pours that will occur.
Motorists should expect delays at the bridge between 9:30 a.m. and 4:00 p.m.
To avoid delays motorists should use Rt. 30, which is the recommended alternate route for large trucks. Local motorists should use the most convenient alternate route.
