Expect delays on I-95 north near Fredericksburg this afternoon
(Two lanes will be closed for approximately 90 minutes)
FREDERICKSBURG – The Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) will temporarily close two lanes on I-95 north at mile marker 123 located just south of Exit 126 (Rt. 1/Spotsylvania). Crews are making adjustments to the work containment area under the Route 608 Bridge over the interstate.
The work containment area was set up in connection the overnight project to paint the structural steel on the new bridge.
Work is expected to begin at 2 p.m. and should be complete in approximately 90 minutes.
