EXPECT DELAYS ON I-95 SOUTH NEAR FREDERICKSBURG NOVEMBER 18-19
(Crews to set beams for new Spotsylvania Parkway bridge over I-95)
FREDERICKSBURG— On Wednesday, Nov. 18 and Thursday, Nov. 19 motorists traveling south on I-95 just south of Exit 126 (Rt. 1/ Fredericksburg) will be periodically stopped for not more than 15 minutes between 10 p.m. – 5 a.m., each night. In addition, motorists will be restricted to one lane in the work zone during these hours.
A contractor for the Silver Companies will be setting the beams for the new Spotsylvania Parkway bridge over I-95. VDOT’s Safety Service Patrol and Virginia State Police will assist with traffic stops. Motorists should expect delays in this area.

The contractor has tentatively planned to set the beams over the northbound lanes on Tuesday, Dec. 1, Wednesday, Dec. 2 and Thursday, Dec. 3.
