Stafford County

§          Interstate 95

Monday, 9 p.m. – 5 a.m.; crews will be replacing overhead signs on I-95 south from just north of Exit 143 (Rt. 610/Stafford) to just north of Exit 136 (Centreport Pkwy.)  This is a mobile operation and one lane will be closed to traffic in the work zone.

Monday – Thursday, 10 a.m. – 6 p.m.; crews will be installing a concrete barrier along the shoulder on I-95 north at Exit 133 (Rt. 17/Falmouth). The right travel lane will be closed to traffic. 

Monday – Friday, 7 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.; motorists should be alert to crews working in the median on I-95 between the Rappahannock River Bridge and the Caroline C.L.  This is a mobile operation.  All travel lanes will be open.

Tuesday, 9 p.m. – 5 a.m.; crews will be replacing the overhead signs on I-95 at Exit 136 (Centreport Pkwy).  The ramp to the exit will be narrowed.  All travel lanes on the interstate will be open.

Tuesday, 9 p.m. – 5 a.m.; crews will be replacing overhead signs on I-95 south from just south of Exit 136 (Centreport Pkwy. to just  north of Exit 133 (Rt. 17/Falmoutn)  This is a mobile operation and one lane will be closed to traffic in the work zone

Wednesday - Thursday, 9 p.m. – 5 a.m.; crews will be replacing overhead signs on I-95 south between Exit 133 (Rt. 17/Flamouth) and Exit 130 (Rt. 3.Fredericksburg).  This is a mobile operation and motorists will be restricted on one lane in the work zone.

§          Route 17 @ I-95

Sunday - Thursday, 8 p.m. – 4:30 a.m.; motorists will be restricted to one lane on Rt. 17 at the I-95 interchange.  Crews are repairing the structural beams on the I-95 bridge over Rt. 17.  Expect brief delays.

Spotsylvania County

·          Route 1

Monday, 9 a.m. – 3 p.m.; crews will be repairing potholes between the Fredericksburg City limits to the I-95 interchange at Massaponax.  This is a mobile operation and motorists will be restricted to one lane in the work zone.

Tuesday, 9 a.m. – 3 p.m.; crews will be repairing potholes between the I-95 interchange at Massaponax to the Caroline C.L.   This is a mobile operation and motorists will be restricted to one lane in the work zone.

·          Route 2

Thursday, 9 a.m. – 3 p.m.; crews will be repairing potholes on Rt. 2 between Rt. 608 to Rt. 17.  This is a mobile operation and motorists will be restricted to one lane in the work zone.

·          Route 632

Monday, 8 a.m. – 10 a.m.; motorists will be restricted to one lane on Rt. 632.  Crews will be removing trees.

·          Route 639 (Bragg Road/Fall Hill Avenue -Ongoing Construction Project

Motorists should be alert to construction crews and equipment working along the shoulder along Bragg Road/Fall Hill Avenue.  This is in connection with the project to Bragg Road/Fall Hill Avenue from two to four lanes between Rt. 3 and the entrance to Central Park. The estimated completion date for this project is summer 2011.

·          Route 608 bridge over I-95 – Ongoing Construction Project

Construction continues on the Rt. 608 bridge over I-95.  Motorists should be alert to construction crews and equipment and changes in traffic patterns in this area.

King George County

·          Harry Nice Memorial Bridge (Route 301)

Monday – Thursday, 9 a.m. – 3 p.m.; motorists will be restricted to one lane on the bridge.  Trucks greater than 11 ft. wide will not be allowed to cross the bridge during work hours.  For more information call 301-259-4444.
