Hot Spots for the Fredericksburg Region
March 29 – April 4, 2009
§ Interstate 95
Sunday, 10 p.m. – 5 a.m.; crews will be retrofitting the overhead signs on I-95 north between Exit 136 (
§ Route 17 @ I-95
Sunday - Thursday, 8 p.m. – 4:30 a.m.; motorists will be restricted to one lane on Rt. 17 north at the I-95 interchange. Crews are repairing the structural beams on the I-95 bridge over Rt. 17. Expect brief delays.
§ Route 1
Monday- Friday, 9 a.m. – 2:30; motorists will be restricted to one lane on Rt. 1 north between Rt. 630 and Rt. 610. Crews will be working along the shoulder.
§ Interstate 95
Sunday, 10 p.m. – 5 a.m.; crews will be retrofitting the overhead signs on I-95 north between Exit 130 (Rt. 3/Fredericksburg) and Exit 133 (Rt. 17/Falmouth). One lane will be closed in the work zone.
§ Route 3
Monday – Friday, 7:30 a.m. – 3 p.m.; crews repairing potholes on Rt. 3 west between the
§ Route 208
Tuesday - Wednesday, 8:30 a.m. – 3 p. m.; motorists will be restricted to one lane in each direction on Rt. 208 between Rt. 628 and Rt. 1401. Crews will be repairing the shoulder in the area.
§ Route 1
Thursday - Friday, 8:30 a.m. – 3 p.m.; motorists will be restricted to one lane on Rt. 1 north between Rt. 622 to the Ni River Bridge. Crews will repairing the shoulder in this area.

· Route 608 bridge over I-95 – Ongoing Construction Project
Construction continues on the Rt. 608 bridge over I-95. Motorists should be alert to construction crews and equipment and changes in traffic patterns in this area.

Monday – Thursday, 9 a.m. – 3 p.m.; motorists will be restricted to one lane on the bridge. Trucks greater than
