Stafford County

§          Interstate 95

Monday – Friday , 10 a.m. – 4:30 a.m; one lane will be closed to traffic on I-95 North at Exit 133 (Rte. 17 Falmouth).  Crews will be repairing the I-95 bridge.  This is an 18 hour lane closure each day.  All lanes will be open each day for the morning rush hour.

§          Route 17 @ I-95

Sunday - Thursday, 8 p.m. – 4:30 a.m.; motorists will be restricted to one lane on Rt. 17 north at the I-95 interchange.  Crews are repairing the structural beams on the I-95 bridge over Rt. 17.  Expect brief delays.

§          Route 1

Monday – Friday,  9 a.m. – 2:30 p.m.;  motorists will be restricted to one lane at various locations on Rt. 1 north between the Fredericksburg City limits to Prince William C.L.   Crews will be repairing the shoulders.

§          Route 3

Monday – Thursday, 7 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.; crews will be spraying herbicide at various locations along the shoulder on Rt. 3 between the Chatham bridge and the King George C.L. This is a mobile operation and one lane will be closed in the work zone.

§          Route 17

Monday – Thursday, 7 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.; crews will be spraying herbicide at various locations along the shoulder on Rt. 17 between Rt. 1 at Falmouth and the Fauquier C.L.. This is a mobile operation and one lane will be closed in the work zone.

Spotsylvania County

§          Route 208

Monday - Thursday, 7 a.m.  – 4:30 p. m.; crews will be spraying herbicide at various locations along the shoulder on both sides of  Rt. 208 between the Fredericksburg City limits and the Louisa C.L. This is a mobile operation and one lane will be closed in the work zone.

§          Route 649

Tuesday,  7 a.m. – 5 p.m.; motorists will be restricted to one lane at various location on Rt. 649 for tree removal operation. 

·          Route 639 (Bragg Road/Fall Hill Avenue -Ongoing Construction Project

Motorists should be alert to construction crews and equipment working along the shoulder along Bragg Road/Fall Hill Avenue.  This is in connection with the project to Bragg Road/Fall Hill Avenue from two to four lanes between Rt. 3 and the entrance to Central Park. The estimated completion date for this project is summer 2011.

Spotsylvania County - continued

·          Route 608 bridge over I-95 – Ongoing Construction Project

Construction continues on the Rt. 608 bridge over I-95.  Motorists should be alert to construction crews and equipment and changes in traffic patterns in this area.

·          Route 639 (Bragg Road/Fall Hill Avenue -Ongoing Construction Project

Motorists should be alert to construction crews and equipment working along the shoulder along Bragg Road/Fall Hill Avenue.  This is in connection with the project to Bragg Road/Fall Hill Avenue from two to four lanes between Rt. 3 and the entrance to Central Park. The estimated completion date for this project is summer 2011.

·          Route 608 bridge over I-95 – Ongoing Construction Project

Construction continues on the Rt. 608 bridge over I-95.  Motorists should be alert to construction crews and equipment and changes in traffic patterns in this area.

King George County

·          Route 301

Monday –  Thursday, 7 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.; crews will be spraying herbicide at various locations along the shoulder on Route 301 between the King George C.L and the Maryland  State line. This is a mobile operation and one lane will be closed in the work zone.

·          Harry Nice Memorial Bridge (Route 301)

Monday – Thursday, 9 a.m. – 3 p.m.; motorists will be restricted to one lane on the bridge.  Trucks greater than

11 ft. wide will not be allowed to cross the bridge during work hours.  For more information call 301-259-4444.
