Stafford County

§          Route 17 @ I-95

Sunday - Thursday, 8 p.m. – 4:30 a.m.; motorists will be restricted to one lane on Rt. 17 north at the I-95 interchange.  Crews are repairing the structural beams on the I-95 bridge over Rt. 17.  Expect brief delays.

§          Route 17

Monday - Wednesday, 8 a.m. – 2:30 p.m; crews will be pothole patching at various locations on Rt. 17 north between Rt. 1 and the Fauquier C.L.  This is a mobile operation.  Motorists will be restricted to one lane in the work zone.

Thursday - Friday, 8 a.m. – 2:30 p. m; crews will be pothole patching at various locations on Rt. 17 south between Fauquier C.L.  and  Rt. 1. This is a mobile operation.  Motorists will be restricted to one lane in the work zone.

Spotsylvania County

·          Interstate I-95

Wednesday – Thursday; 8 a.m. – 3 p.m.; crews will be installing weather sensors on I95 S at the Rappahannock River Bridge just north of the Fredericksburg Welcome Center.  One lane will be closed in the work zone.

·          Route 639 (Bragg Road/Fall Hill Avenue -Ongoing Construction Project

Motorists should be alert to construction crews and equipment working along the shoulder along Bragg Road/Fall Hill Avenue.  This is in connection with the project to Bragg Road/Fall Hill Avenue from two to four lanes between Rt. 3 and the entrance to Central Park. The estimated completion date for this project is summer 2011.

·          Route 608 bridge over I-95 – Ongoing Construction Project

Construction continues on the Rt. 608 bridge over I-95.  Motorists should be alert to construction crews and equipment and changes in traffic patterns in this area.

King George County

·          Harry Nice Memorial Bridge (Route 301)

Monday – Thursday, 9 a.m. – 3 p.m.; motorists will be restricted to one lane on the bridge.  Trucks greater than

11 ft. wide will not be allowed to cross the bridge during work hours.  For more information call 301-259-4444.
