Stafford County

§          Route 17 @ I-95

Sunday, 8 p.m. – 4:30 a.m.; motorists will be restricted to one lane on Rt. 17 north at the I-95 interchange.  Crews are repairing the structural beams on the I-95 bridge over Rt. 17.  Expect brief delays.

Monday, 8 p.m. – 4:30 a.m.; motorists will be restricted to one lane on Rt. 17 south at the I-95 interchange.  Crews are repairing the structural beams on the I-95 bridge over Rt. 17.  Expect brief delays.

§          Route 17

Monday – Tuesday, 8 a.m. – 3 p.m.; crews will be repairing the pavement at various locations on Rt. 17 north between Rt. 1717 and Rt. 700.  This is a mobile operation and motorists will be restricted to one lane in the work zone.

Wednesday – Thursday, 8 a.m. – 3 p.m.; crews will be repairing the shoulder at various locations on Rt. 17 north between Rt. 1034 and Rt. 670.  This is a mobile operation and motorists will be restricted to one lane in the work zone.

·          Route 3

Friday, 8 a.m. – 3 p.m.; crews will be repairing the shoulder at various locations on westbound Rt. 3 in Stafford County.  This is a mobile operation.  Motorists will be restricted to one lane in work zone.

Spotsylvania County

§          Interstate 95

Monday – Thursday, 9 p.m. – 5 a.m.; motorists will be restricted to one lane on I-95 north at mile marker 123 located just south Exit 126 (Spotsylvania).  Crews will be performing bridge work associated with the Rt. 608 (Massapanox Church Road) bridge replacement project.

Wednesday – Friday, 8 a.m. – 3 p.m.; crews will be installing weather stations on the I-95 bridge over the Rappahannock River just south of the Welcome Center. One lane will be closed in the work zone.

·          Route 2

Wednesday, 8:30 a.m. – 3 p.m.; crews will be pothole patching at various locations on Rt. 2 north between Rt. 17 and Rt. 608.  This is a mobile operation.  Motorists will be restricted to one lane in the work zone             .

·          Route 639 (Bragg Road/Fall Hill Avenue -Ongoing Construction Project

Motorists should be alert to construction crews and equipment working along the shoulder along Bragg Road/Fall Hill Avenue.  This is in connection with the project to Bragg Road/Fall Hill Avenue from two to four lanes between Rt. 3 and the entrance to Central Park. The estimated completion date for this project is summer 2011.

Spotsylvania County – continued

·          Route 608 bridge over I-95 – Ongoing Construction Project

Construction continues on the Rt. 608 bridge over I-95.  Motorists should be alert to construction crews and equipment and changes in traffic patterns in this area.

Caroline County

§          Interstate 95

Monday – Friday, 7 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.; crews will be removing trees along the shoulder on both north and south bound I-95 at Exit 110 (Rt. 639/Ladysmith). This is a mobile operation.  All travel lanes will be open. 

King George County

·          Route 208

Monday – Friday, 7 a.m. – 3:30 p.m., crews will be working along the shoulder on Rt. 208 at various locations between Rt. 3 and the Westmoreland C.L.  This is a mobile operation and motorists will be restricted to one lane in the work zone.

·          Harry Nice Memorial Bridge (Route 301)

Monday – Thursday, 9 a.m. – 3 p.m.; motorists will be restricted to one lane on the bridge.  Trucks greater than

11 ft. wide will not be allowed to cross the bridge during work hours.  For more information call 301-259-4444.
