Hot Spots for the Fredericksburg Region
July 19 – July 25, 2009
§ Interstate 95
Sunday – Monday. 10 p.m. – 5 a.m.; motorists will be restricted to one lane on I-95 at mile marker 131.6 located between Exit 133 (Rt. 17/Falmouth) and Exit 130 (Rt. 3/Fredericksburg). Crew will be working under the Fall Hill Aveune bridge over I-95.
§ Route 17 @ I-95
Monday – Friday, 8 p.m. – 4:30 a.m.; motorists will be restricted to one lane on Rt. 17 north and south at the
I-95 interchange. Crews are repairing the structural beams on the I-95 bridge over Rt. 17. Expect brief delays.
§ Interstate 95
Monday - Thursday, 8 a.m. – 3 p.m.; crews will be installing weather stations on the I-95 bridge over the
· Route 608 bridge over I-95
Monday – Wednesday, 7 a.m. – 5 p.m.; motorists should be alert to a flagging operation on the Rt. 608 bridge as crews work to complete the bridge replacement project. The signals will be placed on flash during work hours.

Construction continues on the Rt. 608 bridge over I-95. Motorists should be alert to construction crews and equipment and changes in traffic patterns in this area.
· Harry Nice Bridge (Rt. 301)
Tuesday – Thursday, 9 a.m. – 3 p.m.; and 8 p.m. – 4 a.m.; motorists will be restricted to one lane on the bridge and an 11 ft. width restriction will be in place on the bridge. Crews will be inspecting the bridge during daytime hours and during the overnight hour equipment associated with the bridge painting operation will be mobilizing.
