§          Interstate 95

Tuesday - Thursday, 9 p.m. - 4:30 a.m.; crews will be milling and paving on I-95 south between Exit 126 (Rt. 1/Spotsylvania) and Exit 118 (Rt. 606/Thornburg).  Two lanes will be closed to traffic in the work zone. Expect delays.

·          Route 639 (Bragg Road/Fall Hill Avenue) -Ongoing Construction Project

Tuesday – Friday; motorists are reminded to be alert to construction crews and equipment working along the shoulder along Bragg Road/Fall Hill Avenue as work continues on the Bragg Road/Fall Hill Avenue widening project. The estimated completion date for this project is summer 2011.

·          Spotsylvania Towne Centre Entrance

Motorists are reminded to be alert to changes in the traffic pattern on Route 3 eastbound between Bragg Road and the entrance to the Spotsylvania Towne Centre.  The continuous right turn lane on Rt. 3 east between Bragg Road and the towne centre entrance may be periodically closed to through traffic as well as the right merge lane exiting the towne centre to Rt. 3 east.  To avoid delays Towne Centre patrons should use the entrance located on Bragg Road Extended.  Access to businesses located on Rt. 3 east between Bragg Road and the towne centre will be maintained at all times.

City of Fredericksburg

·          Route 1 bridge over Route 3 (William Street)

Motorists will be restricted to one lane on both north and southbound Rt. 1 at the bridge over Rt. 3 for approximately 5 weeks for bridge rehabilitation.  The speed limit in the work zone is 25 miles per hour.

·          Motorist Alert

Tuesday - Friday, daylight to dusk; Motorists should expect delays on Powhatan Street, Augustine Avenue and Snowden Street.  Crews will be installing a water line.
