?>FREDERICKSBURG – For the next two weeks motorists should expect delays on I-95 near Fredericksburg for bridge work.  Beginning Monday, May 11, the Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) will close two lanes on I-95 each night Monday – Thursday for the next weeks.  ?>

Crews will be working to complete the Massaponax Church Rd. (Rt. 608) Bridge Replacement Project.   The bridge over I-95 is located near Fredericksburg at mile marker 123 between Exit 118 (Rt. 606/Thornburg) and Exit 126 (Rt. 1/Massaponax).  Overnight lane closures associated with this work will continue through Thursday, May 21.

The following lane closures will in effect.

·        Week One

May 11-14, 9 p.m. – 5 a.m. – northbound - two lanes closed.

·        Week Two

May 18 -21, 9 p.m. – 5 a.m. – southbound - two lanes closed.

All lanes will be open to traffic each day by 5 a.m.
