FREDERICKSBURG – The Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) will host a Public Information Meeting for the Route 17 widening project at Gloucester Point.  The meeting will be held Monday, April 6, from 6 p.m. – 8 p.m.  in the auditorium of the Virginia Institute of Marine Science (VIMS) located on Route 1208 (Greate Road) at Gloucester Point.

The meeting will provide citizens with an overview of the project including a description of the construction phases, traffic impacts and the project timeline. 

 VDOT officials will be on hand to answer questions and address public concerns about the project
