MAJOR ROUTES ARE CLEAR - CREWS WORKING IN SUBDIVISIONS
(Morning commuters may encounter slick spots on treated roads due to refreezing)
FREDERICKSBURG (6:30 p.m.) — The interstate, primary and major secondary routes throughout the Fredericksburg District are clear however falling temperatures may cause some refreezing overnight even on treated roads. Early morning commuters should use caution especially on bridges, overpasses and ramps.
VDOT crews are plowing and applying salt, sand and abrasives for traction on secondary routes and subdivision streets. Crews will continue to work around the clock until all roads are passable.

The following counties are included in the Fredericksburg District: Stafford, Spotsylvania, King George, Caroline, Essex, King William, Westmoreland, Richmond, Northumberland, Lancaster, King and Queen, Middlesex, Gloucester and Mathews.
