Fox Mill Run Work to Begin on Monday (Nov. 14)
12-month project will reduce travel lanes on Route 17 Business in Gloucester

FREDERICKSBURG – On Monday, Nov. 14, the Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) will begin the Fox Mill Bridge Replacement Project in Gloucester County.   The project will replace the existing southbound Route 17 Business (Main Street) bridge over Fox Mill Run with a new wider structure that will accommodate projected growth in the area.

During construction the southbound lanes will be closed and both north and southbound traffic will travel in the northbound lanes. All entrances and exits to the Main Street Center will remain open during construction.

The $4 million project is expected to be complete in 12 months.
