I-95 RAMPS AT THORNBURG INTERCHANGE TO CLOSE FOR PAVING
Motorists encouraged to use Exit 110 or Exit 126 as alternates

FREDERICKSBURG – On Wednesday, July 13 at 10 a.m. the Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) will close the ramp to exit I-95 north at Thornburg (Exit 118) for paving.  The ramp will remain closed until 5 p.m.  Motorists should use Exit 110 (Rt. 639/Ladysmith) or Exit 126 (Rt. 1/Spotsylvania) to access the Thornburg area.   

On Thursday, July 14, VDOT will shift the paving operation to the entrance ramp to I-95 north from Route 606 in Thornburg.   The ramp will be closed from 10 a.m. – 5 p.m. Motorists should use the ramps to I-95 north located on Route 639 in Ladysmith and on Route 1 at Massaponax.
