ROUTE 206 NEAR DAHLGREN EXPECTED TO REOPEN AFTER EVENING RUSH HOUR
Detour will remain in place through rush hour
FREDERICKSBURG— Route 206 between Route 301 and Route 614 will be reopened to traffic after the evening rush. The detour will remain in place throughout rush hour.
King George County crews have worked throughout the day to repair a broken water main on Route 206 and expect the work to be complete late this evening.
Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) crews are on scene and detouring traffic around the closure. Local and Virginia State Police are assisting VDOT with the detour.
Motorists should expect delays in this area until the road reopens to traffic.
