VDOT READY TO ACTIVATE ADVANCE WARNING FLASHER ON COURTHOUSE ROAD IN STAFFORD COUNTY
Warning light will alert motorists of stopped vehicles

FREDERICKSBURG—  On Thursday, Nov. 15, the Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) plans to activate the recently installed Advance Warning Flasher on Route 630 (Courthouse Road) near Winding Creek Elementary School in Stafford County.  

The Advance Warning Flasher will provide advance warning to motorists travelling east on Courthouse Road just west of Ramoth Church Road (Route 628) that vehicles are stopped and waiting to make a left turn onto northbound Route 628 (Winding Creek Road).  

VDOT conducted testing of the warning system today in preparation of the full activation.
