VDOT TO INSPECT BRIDGES IN MATHEWS AND MIDDLESEX
Motorists should expect delays in the work zones
FREDERICKSBURG – The Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) has scheduled routine bridge inspections at the following locations in Mathews and Middlesex counties next week:
Mathews County
• Route 3/14 over North End Branch
Monday (July 16), 9 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.
• Route 3 over Burke Mill Stream
Tuesday (July 17), 9 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.
Middlesex County
• Route 227 over Urbanna Creek
Tuesday (July 17) and Wednesday (July 18), 8 a.m. – 4 p.m.
Motorists will be restricted to one lane at each location and flaggers will direct traffic through the work zones.
