VDOT TO INSPECT LORD DELAWARE BRIDGE
Expect single-lane closures, minor delays on Route 33 over the Mattaponi River between King & Queen County and West Point
FREDERICKSBURG – The Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) has scheduled a routine inspection of the Lord Delaware Bridge in King & Queen County during daytime hours from Tuesday, May 1 through Friday, May 4.
A mobile work zone on the bridge will close a single travel lane. The location of the work zone will change as the inspection progresses. A single-lane closure can be expected between 8 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. Tuesday through Friday. Three travel lanes will remain open during the inspection.
