VDOT TO INSPECT NORRIS BRIDGE IN MAY
Daytime, single-lane closures will be required on Route 3 bridge over the Rappahannock River

FREDERICKSBURG  –  Motorists will encounter single-lane closures on the Robert O. Norris Bridge on Route 3 between Monday, May 7 and Friday, May 25 for an annual scheduled inspection of the bridge.

 

Single-lane closures will occur on the bridge between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. on weekdays. Flagging crews will direct traffic to take turns crossing the bridge in the open travel lane.

 

The Norris Bridge spans the Rappahannock River, and connects Lancaster and Middlesex counties.
