CSX RAIL REPAIRS WILL TEMPARILY CLOSE SUMMIT ROAD IN SPOTSYLVANIA COUNTY ON TUESDAY, OCT. 15
The work is expected to be complete by noon

FREDERICKSBURG – Beginning at 9 a.m. on Tuesday, October 15, Route 668 (Summit Crossing Road) will be closed to traffic at the CSX rail crossing in Spotsylvania County.

CSX crews will be repairing the rails at the crossing.

Motorists should use the following detour:

• Route 608 (Massaponax Church Rd.) to Route 634 (Flippo Dr.)
• Route 634 (Flippo Dr.) to Route 607 (Guinea Station Rd.)
• Route 607 (Guinea Station Rd.) to Route 660 (Claiborne Crossing)
• Route 660 (Claiborne Crossing) to Route 609 (Macedonia Rd.)

The road is expected to reopen to traffic at noon.
