NIGHT WORK PLANNED FOR BRIDGES AT LAKE ANNA
Single lane closures planned next week for bridge joint maintenance in Spotsylvania County

FREDERICKSBURG – Motorists may experience a slight travel delay overnight next week while crossing two bridges on secondary roads at Lake Anna in Spotsylvania County.

Single lane closures are scheduled for two bridges crossing Lake Anna: Route 612 (Stubbs Bridge Road) and Route 719 (Days Bridge Road).

A single lane will be closed on both bridges each evening from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. beginning Sunday, March 10 through Thursday, March 14. Traffic will alternate crossing these bridges in a single travel lane.

This work is scheduled weather permitting. McClain & Co., Inc., will be cleaning and re-sealing expansion joints on the bridges.

Real-time listings of travel times, work zones, and traffic incidents in Virginia are available on VDOT’s 24-hour traffic information website, www.511Virginia.org. Motorists can also access 511Virginia by calling 511 from any telephone in Virginia.
