PAVING CONTINUES IN GLOUCESTER, MATHEWS
Motorists should expect delays from 7 a.m. – 7 p.m. next week on Route 3, Route 14, and Route 198
FREDERICKSBURG – The Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) and its contractors will be milling, paving and placing shoulder stone at various locations in Gloucester County and Mathews County between Monday, August 5 and Friday, August 9.
Motorists should expect delays and a rough driving surface in the work zone.
Crews may be working between 7 a.m. – 7 p.m. at the following locations:
Crews will be milling and paving in Gloucester County along a 5-mile section between the Mathews County/Gloucester line to 1 mile east of Route 623.
Crews will be milling and paving in Mathews County along a continuous 7.08 mile section between Route 3 and Route 198.
Crews will be applying shoulder stone in Mathews County along a continuous 7.05 mile section from the intersection of Route 3 to just east of Route 14.
