BELLE PLAINS ROAD CLOSED TO THROUGH TRAFFIC AUG. 18-21
Road in Stafford County’s White Oak area to close between Paul Hill Road and Trails End Lane

FREDERICKSBURG – Route 604 (Belle Plains Road) in Stafford County will be closed to through traffic between Route 722 (Paul Hill Road) and Trails End Lane on Aug. 18-21.

 

The Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) is installing a new drainage pipe, and cleaning adjacent drainage ditches.

 

Belle Plains Road will close at the work zone at 6 a.m. on Monday, Aug. 18 and will remain closed through 5 p.m. on Thursday, Aug. 21.

 

Traffic will be detoured to Route 218 (White Oak Road) and Route 603 (Newtown Road). Detour signs to guide motorists will be posted.  

 

Motorists can call 511, visit www.511Virginia.org, or use VDOT’s 511Virginia free mobile app to find real-time traffic, work zone and lane closure information in any area of the state.
