DAYTIME LANE CLOSURE ON NORRIS BRIDGE SCHEDULED FOR WEDNESDAY, SEPT. 17
Minor delays expected on Route 3 for bridge inspection
FREDERICKSBURG—Motorists can expect brief daytime delays on Route 3 at the Norris Bridge on Wednesday, Sept. 17.
Traffic will be reduced to a single lane from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. on the bridge, where Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) and contractor crews will inspect recently completed bridge deck patching work. Work is scheduled weather permitting.
The Norris Bridge crosses the Rappahannock River, and connects Lancaster and Middlesex counties.
