MILLING WORK TO BEGIN IN KILMARNOCK ON TUESDAY, JULY 1
Expect delays and a coarse driving surface on Route 1026 (School Drive) for approximately two weeks

FREDERICKSBURG - On Tuesday, July 1, the Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) will be milling in the Town of Kilmarnock, weather permitting.  

Motorists should expect delays on Route 1026 (School Drive) from Route 200 (Irvington Road) to Route 3 (N. Main Street) from 7 a.m. until 5:30 p.m.  

The milling operation will leave a coarse driving surface. Motorists are encouraged to reduce their speed and use caution when driving through the work zone.  

Paving work will begin on Route 1026 in approximately two weeks.
