NORRIS BRIDGE INSPECTIONS WILL RESUME THIS WEEKEND
Expect delays on Saturday, Sunday and next week

FREDERICKSBURG– The Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) postponed the previously scheduled Norris Bridge inspection due to inclement weather.  The inspections have been rescheduled for this weekend.  

North and southbound motorists should expect lane closures and brief delays on the Route 3 bridge over the Rappahannock River between 9 a.m. – 3 p.m. on Saturday, March 22 and Sunday, March 23.  

Lane closures will continue Monday, March 24 through Friday, March 28, 9 a.m. – 3 p.m. each day.

Flaggers will direct motorists through the work zone.

The Norris Bridge crosses the Rappahannock River, and connects Lancaster and Middlesex counties.
