OVERNIGHT LANE CLOSURES ON DOWNING BRIDGE
Minor delays are expected on Route 360 at Tappahannock next week for bridge deck patching

FREDERICKSBURG—Starting on Monday, June 23, 2014, motorists can expect brief overnight delays on Route 360 at the Downing Bridge.

Traffic will be reduced to a single lane from 8 p.m. to 4 a.m. on the bridge, where Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) and contractor crews will patch the bridge deck for routine maintenance.

Work is scheduled for June 23-26, 2014, weather permitting.  

The Downing Bridge is located on Route 360 between Richmond and Essex counties, and crosses the Rappahannock River at Tappahannock.
