OVERNIGHT LANE CLOSURES ON NORRIS BRIDGE
Minor delays expected on Route 3 next week for bridge deck patching

FREDERICKSBURG—Starting on Sunday, Aug. 10, motorists can expect brief overnight delays on Route 3 at the Robert O. Norris Bridge through the evening of Tuesday, Aug. 12.

 

Traffic will be reduced to a single lane from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. on the bridge, where Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) and contractor crews will patch the bridge deck for routine maintenance. Work is scheduled weather permitting. 

 

The Norris Bridge is located on Route 3 between Lancaster and Middlesex counties, and crosses the Rappahannock River at White Stone.
