OVERNIGHT LANE CLOSURES ON I˗95 SOUTHBOUND WILL CONTINUE NEXT WEEK IN SPOTSYLVANIA COUNTY
Motorists can expect overnight delays on I-95 southbound at the Ni River bridge between Monday, May 22 – Friday, May 26
FREDERICKSBURG – Overnight lane closures and travel delays will continue next week on Interstate 95 southbound at the bridge over the Ni River in Spotsylvania County between Monday, May 22 through Friday, May 26.
Crews will continue their work to make improvements to the bridge which requires double lane closures.
The Ni River bridge is located at mile marker 121, just south of Exit 126/Massaponax.
I-95 lanes will be closed on the following schedule, weather permitting:
Monday, May 22 ˗˗ Friday, May 26
I-95 Southbound at mile marker 121 (Ni River Bridge) south of Exit 126 (Route 1/Massaponax)
- Single lane closure at 9 p.m.
- Double lane closure at 10 p.m.
- All lanes will reopen by 4:30 a.m.
Message boards will warn travelers to stay alert to the work zone ahead and possible delays.
