SIDEWALK PROJECT IN TOWN OF BOWLING GREEN IS COMPLETE
Crews finished concrete repair work ahead of schedule on Main Street between East Broaddus Avenue and Milford Street
FREDERICKSBURG – A concrete sidewalk repair project is complete on Main Street in the Town of Bowling Green.
Work began in late June on both sides of Main Street between East Broaddus Avenue and Milford Street.
Crews replaced approximately 650 feet of sidewalk and 70 feet of curb and gutter ahead of schedule.
Repairs were funded through the Virginia Department of Transportation’s maintenance program.
VDOT coordinated repair locations with the Town of Bowling Green.

VDOT’s 14-county Fredericksburg District includes the counties of Caroline, King George, Spotsylvania and Stafford in the Fredericksburg area; Northumberland, Richmond, Lancaster and Westmoreland counties in the Northern Neck; Essex, Gloucester, King & Queen, King William, Mathews and Middlesex counties in the Middle Peninsula.
