CSX WORK TO CLOSE LANSDOWNE ROAD IN SPOTSYLVANIA ON THURSDAY, NOV. 29
Road will be closed to through traffic at the railroad crossing from 9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. for paving and maintenance work
FREDERICKSBURG, Va. – CSX will close Lansdowne Road in Spotsylvania County to through traffic on Thursday, Nov. 29 to allow CSX crews to pave at the railroad crossing.
Lansdowne Road will close at the railroad crossing at 9 a.m. Thursday and remain closed through approximately 2:30 p.m.
CSX is finishing paving in connection with recent railroad crossing improvement work that was underway on Lansdowne Road on Nov. 12-17.

VDOT’s 14-county Fredericksburg District includes the counties of Caroline, King George, Spotsylvania and Stafford in the Fredericksburg area; Northumberland, Richmond, Lancaster and Westmoreland counties in the Northern Neck; Essex, Gloucester, King & Queen, King William, Mathews and Middlesex counties in the Middle Peninsula.
