ROUTE 3 CLOSED IN LANCASTER COUNTY DUE TO FLOODING
Route 3 is closed to through traffic between Route 201 (White Chapel Road) and Route 600 (Courthouse Road) in Lively area

FREDERICKSBURG – Route 3 is closed to all traffic in Lancaster County due to flooding.

All lanes on Route 3 are closed between Route 201 (White Chapel Road) and Route 600 (Courthouse Road) in the Lively area of the county.

No immediate reopening time is available. As soon as Tropical Storm Michael’s effects are over, crews will work to assess the damage and plan repairs.

The Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) is encouraging drivers to avoid unnecessary travel overnight until the storm dissipates.
