ROUTE 3 PAVING TO BEGIN SUNDAY, SEPT. 30 IN LANCASTER COUNTY
Travelers can expect overnight delays on Sunday-Thursday evenings between Route 200 (Irvington Road) and Route 607 (Good Luck Road)
FREDERICKSBURG, Va. – Route 3 travelers in Lancaster County can anticipate overnight delays starting Sunday, Sept. 30 as work begins to resurface this primary route between Route 200 (Irvington Road) and Route 607 (Good Luck Road).
Route 3 will be reduced to a single lane between 8 p.m. and 6 a.m. on Sunday through Thursday evenings.
Weather permitting, work will continue on Sunday-Thursday evenings in October until paving is complete and fresh pavement markings are applied. Motorists are encouraged to avoid distractions in the work zone and be alert for temporary traffic patterns, slow-moving construction equipment, and a temporary rougher ride in milled sections of pavement.
