Eastern Shore — The Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) has temporarily closed northbound lanes on Route 13 near Belle Haven because of an accident. The closure is expected to last for approximately 8 to 10 hours.

Drivers traveling in this area will follow posted detour signs taking a right turn on Savagetown Road, a left turn on Seaside Road, a left turn on Coal Kiln and a right turn back to Route 13.
