Crews will only pick up trees, branches, leaves and other woody debris along the following roads which were damaged during the April 16 tornado:
· Pocahontas Trail (Route 60) from the York County line to Magruder Avenue (Route 656)
· Howard Drive (Route 648)
· Whiting Ave (Route 648)

· Railroad Street (Route 692)
· Magruder Avenue (Route 656)
Debris must be placed at the roadside edge away from power lines and other utilities and cannot block traffic. However, construction and household items may only be taken to the County’s Jolly Pond Road Convenience Center located at 1204 Jolly Pond Rd. Standard coupon fees will apply. Hazardous materials will not be accepted.
These items should be taken to one of the scheduled VPPSA Household Chemical Collections for proper disposal. For dates, times and locations of these collections, please visit their website at www.VPPSA.org or call 757-259-9850.
