DESIGN PUBLIC HEARING TO BE HELD ON PROPOSED PLANS FOR SECOND SEGMENT OF I-64 WIDENING PROJECT
Public invited to learn more about plans to provide congestion relief on I-64 in Newport News, York County and James City County

SUFFOLK — The Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) will hold a design public hearing on Thursday, April 30, to present the proposed plans for the second segment of widening improvements on Interstate 64 in Newport News, York County and James City County.

The purpose of the meeting is to give citizens an opportunity to review the project exhibits on display, meet with VDOT representatives and provide input. This will be an open-house format meeting with no formal presentation. Local media are invited to attend.

Citizens may provide oral and written comments at the hearing or submit them by May 10, 2015, to Janet Hedrick, P.E., Virginia Department of Transportation, 1992 South Military Highway, Chesapeake, Virginia 23320 or via email to Janet.Hedrick@VDOT.Virginia.gov.
