UPDATE: ROADS CLOSED DUE TO FLOODING
As of 6:00 a.m., the following conditions are being reported: (updates shown in italics)
Closed due to mud slide: Re-opened
US 58 eastbound between Route 855 (Cascade Mill Rd) and Route 622 (Cascade Rd)
Closed due to high water:
Route 637 (Whitehall Rd) near Route 635 (Collins Ferry Rd).
Route 618 (Farmers Rd) between Route 608 (Edmonds Rd) and Route 646 (Renan Rd)
Route 631 (Dews Rd) between Route 640 (Wards Road) and Route 668 (Level Run Rd)
Route 637 (Jacobs Lane between Route 642(Scott Jacobs Memorial Rd) to Route 638 (Roark Mill Rd)
Route 671 (Midway Rd) between Route 665 (Rockford School Rd) and Route 692 (Transco Rd)
Route 683 (Johnson Mill Rd) between Route 40 (East Gretna Rd) and Route 938 (North Meadows Rd)
Route 792 (Henry St) between Route 665 (Rockford School Rd) and Route 1308 (Chaney Lane)
Route 938 (North Meadows Rd) between Route 627 (Upper Mountain Rd) and Route 937 (Hickey Rd)
Route 951 (Yellow Bird Place) from Route 622(West Fork Rd) to dead end – pipe washed out
In addition, there are reports of downed trees and debris at various locations throughout much of the southern portion of ten-county district located in south-central Virginia. The district includes the counties Amherst, Appomattox, Buckingham, Campbell, Charlotte, Cumberland, Halifax, Nelson, Pittsylvania and Prince Edward.
