PRINCE EDWARD COUNTY 460 EAST REHAB PROJECT AWARDED


PRINCE EDWARD COUNTY – A 2.88-mile project to rehabilitate a portion of US 460 East in Prince Edward County has been awarded by the Commonwealth Transportation Board (CTB).

Branscome, Inc. of Williamsburg, VA was awarded the approximately $2.6 million project which will involve milling the existing pavement and shoulders of Rte 460 East from 1.35-miles east of Rte 735 to the Nottoway County line, grading and paving.

Expected to be complete by April 2010, motorists should use caution and expect delays and lane closures during this work.
