Delays likely on US 460 East in Lynchburg
Tractor-trailer incident creates problems for motorists

LYNCHBURG—A tractor-trailer incident on US 460 East in the City of Lynchburg is creating traffic difficulties for motorists this morning in the Pleasant Valley community. 

A tractor-trailer carrying bagged cement jack-knifed and lost some of its load.  The eastbound lanes of US 460 in the area are reported blocked; however, police have let a few vehicles through during the investigation. 

Emergency responders are on the scene.  The investigation and clean up will likely last for several hours and motorists are urged to seek alternate routes, if possible.
