MARTIN NAMED HALIFAX VDOT MANAGER

LYNCHBURG---Kenneth C. Martin of Crystal Hill has been named the Residency Maintenance Manager (RMM) for the Halifax Residency of the Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT).  The Halifax Residency includes the counties of Halifax and Pittsylvania.

According to T. A. Wiles, IV, Assistant District Administrator for Maintenance in VDOT’s Lynchburg District, “We are delighted to have an employee with Kenneth’s experience and demonstrated abilities in this leadership role.”

Martin has over 30 years of service with VDOT.  He began his career as a crew member and progressed through the ranks to become superintendent at the Volens Area Headquarters in Halifax County.  Most recently, he was the Residency Maintenance Program Manager and Acting RMM.
